These terms govern your use of event-specialists.com, operated by E C Events & Entertainment Inc, doing business as Event Specialists. By using the site you accept them.

Website terms, not service terms

Nothing on this site is an offer or a contract. Scope, pricing, staffing, cancellation, insurance, and liability for an event are set out in the written agreement signed for that event. Where this page and a signed agreement conflict, the signed agreement governs.

Proposal requests

Submitting the form starts a conversation. It does not reserve a date, hold capacity, or bind either party. A booking exists only when we have issued a written agreement and it has been signed and returned with any deposit specified in it.

Accuracy of information

We keep the site current, but service descriptions, capabilities, and client references are illustrative rather than guaranteed. Photography may show past events and is not a representation of what a given program will look like.

Alcohol service

Bar and beverage service described on this site operates under our alcohol license or, where a client holds its own ABC permit, under the client's permit. Service is subject to California law and to the conditions of the permit issued for the event.

Intellectual property

The text, photography, and design of this site belong to us or are used with permission. Client and event names and marks shown on this site are the property of their respective owners and appear to identify work performed. Their use does not imply endorsement.

Your use of the site

Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, interfere with its operation, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, or use the contact forms to send unsolicited commercial messages.

Text messaging terms

By checking the text-message consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive SMS messages from Event Specialists (E C Events & Entertainment Inc) at the mobile number you provide. Messages relate to your inquiry, booking, or event, or, if you applied to work with us, to shift availability. We do not send promotional text messages unless you have separately agreed to them.

• Message frequency varies by inquiry or event.
• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier.
• Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.
• Reply HELP for help, or contact us at the address on our contact page.
• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of employment.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How we handle your number is described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we disclaim warranties of any kind regarding the site, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under California law. This clause applies to the website; liability connected to an event is addressed in the event agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising from them will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
